Today's plan is to build an outdoor sunshade in the garden. The garden is located in the villa area, and it is required that the sunshade be integrated with the garden and can serve multiple purposes. The garden is located in a coastal city, where typhoons often occur. The sunshade needs to have excellent wind resistance and waterproof performance. In the end, we recommended the customer to choose a retractable awning.

Customers who see our videos online can find our factory and hope that we can design a shading scheme in their carden. He expressed his wish to us designers: to use our sunshade for shade and shelter from the sun, afternoon tea time, stargazing at night, family gatherings, parking cars, etc.

The client brought our designer to the garden for on-site measurement. The garden is very large, with a basketball court, rockery, small forest, and a piece of open space in the middle. The designer plans to use vacant land to build an electric folding sunshade. Use the walls of the villa and front pillars to secure the track of the sunshade.

The measured size is 7230 millimeters wide and extends 6700 millimeters. The designer uses the T700 profile track, which can achieve a maximum span of 8 meters and has a very high cost-effectiveness.

This fabric is made of yellow PVC fabric produced in China. The fabric has a three-layer design, with a 100% waterproof layer and a UV coated layer on top, a shading layer in the middle, and a flame-retardant and anti folding layer on the bottom, providing excellent waterproof and thermal insulation performance. The column is also made of 6063-T5 aluminum alloy. The exterior of the column is coated with a professional outdoor coating, which has stronger anti-corrosion ability. The electronic control system adopts Duya brand motors, which have greater torque and smoother operation. It also has anti misoperation function to protect the motor from overheating and damage.

The most satisfying feature for the customer is the electrically opened roof, which fulfills their desire to watch the stars and moon at night. The paired LED lights can provide nighttime illumination and also serve as ambient lighting, with very low power consumption.

Now with the electric sunshade, open spaces have become multifunctional places. Sun and rain protection, afternoon tea time, stargazing at night, family gatherings, parking cars and other functions can all be achieved.

The customer told me that they often have family or friend gatherings in the garden on weekends, and the frequency of using retractable awning is very high.
